Why should I sponsor a wild animal?
Your sponsorship helps restore an injured, orphaned, or sick animal to full health and freedom. Your support provides expert rehabilitation, species-appropriate food, and enrichment activities that prepare the animal for a successful return to the wild.
Can I purchase a sponsorship as a gift?
Yes! After entering your payment details, you can choose to gift or dedicate your sponsorship. Look for "Dedicate a Donation" on the Options page to select your dedication type, provide the honoree's name, and send the sponsorship to your chosen recipient if desired.
Can I send my sponsorship benefits to my giftee?
Yes! When sponsoring a wild animal as a gift, check the box marked "This sponsorship is a gift for someone else." Enter the recipient’s name and contact information. You can also include a personal message of up to 250 characters in the “Your message to the recipient” box.
What are my sponsorship benefits?
All sponsorships include a species fact sheet, a certificate of sponsorship, and a sponsorship folder. Higher-level sponsorships come with additional benefits. Visit our website for full details.
When will I receive my sponsorship materials?
Sponsorship packets are shipped via USPS and typically arrive within 6 to 10 business days. Please note that delivery dates cannot be guaranteed due to USPS variability.
Can I waive my sponsorship benefits?
Yes! If you prefer not to receive physical sponsorship materials, select “yes” from the dropdown menu under the statement, “I would like to waive my sponsorship benefits” before completing your donation.
Can I still sponsor an animal if I live outside the United States?
Yes! However, we can only ship sponsorship packets to valid addresses within the United States.
